# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The sweetness from the apple makes this the slaw even cabbage skeptics will actually enjoy
  • It comes together in literally fifteen minutes but tastes like you put way more thought into it
02 -
  • This slaw gets watery if it sits too long, so plan to make it the same day you're serving it
  • The apple will oxidize slightly over time, but toss everything in the dressing right after slicing and it'll stay looking fresh
03 -
  • A mandoline or food processor makes quick work of all that shredding if you're feeding a crowd
  • Taste an apple slice before committing, if it's not tart enough you might want slightly less honey in the dressing
