# Directions:

01 - Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Insert wooden sticks into the tops and set aside.
02 - In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
03 - Increase heat and boil without stirring until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage) on a candy thermometer, about 7 to 8 minutes.
04 - Remove from heat. Quickly stir in black gel food coloring and vanilla extract.
05 - Carefully dip each apple into the hot candy mixture, swirling to coat completely. Allow excess to drip off, then place on a parchment-lined tray to set.
06 - Arrange the coated apples in the center of a large serving board.
07 - Place caramel and chocolate sauces in small serving bowls around the board.
08 - Fill the remaining space on the board with pretzel rods, gummy worms, marshmallows, Halloween candies, chocolate bark, grapes, dried cranberries, and pumpkin seeds.
