→ Basic Popcorn
01 - ½ cup popcorn kernels
02 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil
→ Savoury Seasoning Options
03 - 2 tbsp melted butter
04 - ½ tsp sea salt
05 - ½ tsp smoked paprika
06 - ½ tsp garlic powder
07 - ½ tsp onion powder
08 - ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
09 - 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
10 - 1 tbsp dried Italian herb mix
11 - 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
12 - ½ tsp dried chili flakes
13 - 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
14 - 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Warm vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add a few popcorn kernels, cover, and wait for them to pop.
02 - Add the remaining popcorn kernels to the pot, cover, shaking occasionally. When popping slows to several seconds between pops, remove from heat.
03 - Empty the popped corn into a large mixing bowl.
04 - Drizzle melted butter over the popcorn if using and toss thoroughly to coat evenly.
05 - Sprinkle selected savoury seasonings over the popcorn while tossing to ensure even coverage.
06 - Add any fresh herbs or cheese as desired and toss again. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
