Crunchy mixed nuts roasted with honey, cumin, smoked paprika, and cinnamon. Sweet, savory, and perfectly spiced for snacking.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Nuts

01 - 1 cup raw almonds
02 - 1 cup raw cashews
03 - 1 cup raw pecans
04 - 1 cup raw walnuts

→ Seasoning & Sweetener

05 - 3 tbsp honey
06 - 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
07 - 1 tsp ground cumin
08 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
09 - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
10 - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
11 - 1 tsp sea salt
12 - 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine honey and olive oil or melted butter. Add cumin, smoked paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a uniform spiced glaze.
03 - Add all nuts to the bowl and toss thoroughly, ensuring each nut is evenly coated with the spiced honey mixture.
04 - Spread the nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded for even roasting.
05 - Roast in the oven for 18-20 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking time. Continue until nuts are golden brown and fragrant, watching carefully to prevent burning.
06 - Remove from oven and let cool completely on the baking sheet. Nuts will crisp as they cool to room temperature.
07 - Break apart any clusters that formed during roasting. Transfer to an airtight container for storage.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The sweet-and-spicy coating creates this addictive flavor that keeps everyone reaching back into the bowl
  • They somehow manage to feel fancy enough for a dinner party yet casual enough for solo Netflix binges
02 -
  • Honey burns faster than sugar, so set a timer and check them at the 15-minute mark even if they do not look done yet
  • The nuts must cool completely before storing or they will steam themselves soft in any container
03 -
  • Use your hands to toss the nuts with the coating instead of a spoon so you can feel and ensure even coverage
  • Line your baking sheet with fresh parchment paper every time because stuck honey residue will burn on the second batch
