01 - 1 large round sourdough loaf (about 1.1 lbs)

→ Spinach Dip

02 - 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
03 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
04 - 1/2 cup sour cream
05 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
07 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
08 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
11 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

12 - 1 red bell pepper, diced (optional for color)
13 - Sourdough bread pieces reserved from hollowed loaf or assorted crackers and fresh vegetables

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F.
02 - Slice the top off the sourdough loaf and carefully hollow out the center, leaving approximately 1 inch of bread around the edges to form a bowl. Reserve the removed bread for dipping.
03 - In a large bowl, thoroughly mix the thawed spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper until smooth and evenly blended.
04 - Spoon the spinach mixture into the prepared bread bowl. Optionally, sprinkle diced red bell pepper on top for a festive appearance.
05 - Place the filled bread bowl on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes, or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the bread edges are lightly crisped.
06 - Serve the warm spinach dip immediately with reserved bread chunks, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
