Oat Banana Chocolate Chip (Printable)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 2 large ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 2 tablespoons coconut oil (or melted butter)

→ Dry Ingredients

03 - 2 cups rolled oats
04 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Mix-ins

06 - 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Stir in the coconut oil until incorporated.
03 - Add the rolled oats, ground cinnamon if using, and salt to the banana mixture. Stir until evenly combined.
04 - Fold the semi-sweet chocolate chips gently into the dough.
05 - Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, then flatten each slightly with the back of a spoon.
06 - Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the cookies are set and edges turn lightly golden.
07 - Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
